As an introduction,
I am a 7th generation Gregg agriculturalist, (3rd generation certified organic) to live and work on the family's grain,
beef, produce and chicken farm. I personally raise the ducks, and chickens for egg and meat production and tend to the
produce section. All animals are raised on certified organic grains grown on our farm, and milled into feed less than
3 miles away at a neighboring certified organic farm.
We are happy
to provide you and your family or business with wholesome meat, produce and grain. Our grains and produce are all certified
organic, while our chickens, ducks, eggs and beef are organically raised on those feeds.
I am a graduate
student in Public Health, and a graduate of The Ohio State University's College of Food,
Agriculture and Environmental Sciences majoring in Animal Science and Agriculture Education. My most recent occupations
include Meat Inspector for the State of Ohio, Veterinary Technician at 2 area clinics, and Laboratory Technician for
the American Red Cross Biomedical Components Laboratory. I have a passion for connecting people with healthy food
and lifestyle choices that allow them to thrive. I am currently working on a book, "A + Bean = Coffee" that provides
a comprehensive look at the chemical processes responsible for generating a majority of the American food supply and
its effects and implications for our health.
You can
find me this summer at Pearl Street Market in Columbus, Loudonville Farmers Market, Fredericktown Farmers Market, and the
Mt. Vernon Farmers Market all in Ohio.
Hope to see
you there!
